Amadou Camara was a tailor, but due to failing eyesight he now collects plastic for recycling. Pickers at the Kombo Municipal Council dump site at Bakoteh. A number of the pickers have other jobs but use the proceeds from selling recyclable materials to supplement their low wages. Amadou said he receives 6 dalasis / 8 cents USD per kilo.
