Art of Eight Limbs
Art of Eight Limbs
______________
'Art of Eight Limbs' refers to the use of eight points of contact during Muay Thai combat:
fists, elbows, knees, and shins.
Muay Thai's roots trace back to the ancient Sukhothai Kingdom (13th century), where it was used for military training. Over time, it has evolved into a sport and has become deeply ingrained in Thai culture.
