Blinded by the Fight

In the jungles of Karen State, Burma (Myanmar) the Karen people have been fighting since 1949 for their very right to exist, in what is now considered the world’s longest ongoing conflict. They have been in a continuous struggle for survival against the repressive Burmese junta.

At a refugee camp on the Thailand border a group of maimed and blinded Karen fighters now live together, and have formed a choir that tours the country to help support them and other injured fighters and civilians.
