Fatou said “Mustafa had been dismissed from the army, allegedly because he was wrongfully accused of not voting for president Yahya Jammeh, so I knew he was a target, everyone was in Jammeh’s time. So, I did not want him to go out in his taxi at night. But one night he got a late call from a stranger to go and pick them up. 20 minutes after he left home, I called him to check on him. It rings and rings and nobody picks up. I didn't sleep all that night, I was calling him and calling him and no one was picking up the phone. When he left that night, it was the last time I saw him alive”. July 2019 Omar Jallow, a member of Jammeh’s hit squad, admitted to being involved in the murder of Mustafa Colley
